My Fair Lady Comes to Chicago in 2020

Fans of Broadway in Chicago will be thrilled with the announcement that My Fair Lady will be making a grand entrance at the Cadillac Palace from March 24- April 12, 2020.

Fans will love the classical features the show guarantees. Timeless classics like “The Rain in Spain,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Wouldn’t It Be Lovely,” and a whole host of other classics will be on show. My Fair Lady is adored from all over the world. It was hailed as ” one of the best musicals of the century,” ” a work of theatre magic,” and “a miraculous musical” by The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, and The NY Herald Tribune respectively.

This Lincoln Center Theater production is the first Broadway revival in more than two decades. The musical first came into the limelight back in 1956, and it took home six Tony’s the following year including “The Best Musical Award.” It ran for 2,717 performances which made it the longest running musical in Broadway history as at that time.

Ted Sperling, Christopher Gattelli, Michael Yeargan, Donald Holder, Catherine Zuber, and Marc Salzberg are all part of the creative team, and they are in charge of music direction, choreography, scenic design, lighting design, costume design, and sound design respectively.

The show has won lots of local and international recognition. It also boasts of an endless list of awards and nominations.
